11:00 - 12:30: Reading!

Heya, everyone!

How you all doing? Hope you are doing great in Quarantine. But that is not what my post is about today! Today, for reading. I had started the sharp reading piece- Mirages. Here is what I managed to get done. Before lunch.

Mirages - are they real?
Sharp reading

Remembering - what are the facts?

  1. What is the cause of a mirage?
  • The cause of a mirage is because of the refraction of light.
  1. Where do mirages often occur?
  • Over the aquatic and atop of areas such as the more frigid areas.
  1. Write 2 questions like the ones above. You must be able to find the answers in the explanation.
  • What is the cause of a superior mirage?
    • It’s caused by warm air above cold air, and light rays bend the reflection of the object the other way.
  • What is the difference between an inferior and a superior mirage?
    • Superior mirages appear above the object that it represents, and an inferior mirage appears below the object that it is representing.

I hadn't been able to get much done, due to being caught up in helping with lunch! But aside from that. After Lunch, was our class call. It lasted from 1:00pm - 2:50pm. Not too much, just explaining what sites are at our use for our schoolwork.
